INTERMEDIATE COURSE, READING AND DISTRICT AMATEUR RADIO CLUB
Next course is expected to be one weeknight, April to May 2009, details to be advised
Details from Harry Email - foundation @ radarc.org for details.
Course Project
Early in the course, you must start to build your project kit and make it work. This is a test of practical skills, such as drilling and soldering. We will help you with any problems. One suitable project is the 80 metre Colpitts VFO described in the Intermediate Licence Manual on pages 32 and 34.
Course Work
The presentations will build upon the Foundation Course you passed, but we shall proceed faster with three topics a night and you will need to do some building of your project at home. Topics will be presented by members of the Club, under supervision of registered Instructors.
Bookings
To reserve your place, print off the Application Form from the RADARC website and complete it for “Intermediate Course”. Send it with a cheque for the £10 deposit, payable to RADARC, to Harry Hogg, G3NGX, Course Secretary, Crossways, Ferry Road, South Stoke, Reading, RG8 0JL
