Pete Milton G8FRC - SK

Pete who had worked for the club and the McMichael Rally for many year fell suddenly ill in 2016 and passed away today 1st April 2016. Our thoughts are with Brenda and Family at this moments and you can leave you memories to be added below by emailing them to me.

Pete you will be missed as a great friend. Min G0JMS.

Very sad news indeed. My fond memory of Pete was giving him 2 x BC221 Frequency Meters several years ago only to find out he knew all there was to know about them and he had many more in the shed. We always shared a laugh about this over the years. I will especially miss his greeting as I walked through the door at club meetings and bumping into him at rallies, but most of all, the fun he had and shared, at our junk sales. RIP Pete  Loz, G2DD

I have known Peter ever since I joined the club and I will miss him, my thoughts are with Brenda. Jim - G0LHZ

My abiding memory of Pete will of a summer evening after a meeting, sitting outside of the bar in the near dark - just chatting and joking. Charlie.M0WYM

I remember Pete's ready wit in committee meetings and helping at field days. The deterioration of faculties I saw in January was concerning even before the diagnosis. He was always willing to help others and the club will be poorer for his loss. My thoughts and condolences to Brenda and other family members. David M0DHO

A sad day. RIP Peter - Andy M5ALG

He will be much missed by all those from the club who knew him. 73 Phil G1LKJ

Very sad news. One of the many who gave me such a warm welcome to the club. He gave me much inspiration, with in his case a unique dry wit. He will be sorely missed and my condolences to his family and friends. 73 Simon M0ZSU

A very sad loss, I liked Pete's sense of humour.  He will be sorely missed.  Tina Panting

Itís obvious what everyone feels about Pete. He was always there, and I canít believe he wonít be there any more. We all, and the club, will miss him and his input for a long time to come. Robin G4IWS
