Awards 2007

Harry G3NGX Receives the G5KV award for his endless efforts in Training and Secretary for the club.

A1 Award went to Dick Finch M0POQ who went through the Foundation, Intermediate and Advance with in 12 Months all at RADARC.

A1 Novice Award went to Sergei 2E0KGB for his efforts in advancing in the hobby

Constructors Cup 2006 went to Jim G0LHZ  (Sorry Chris better luck next time.....)

 

Constructors Cup 2000 was presented to Chris Catt M1CYE as runner up.

Mike Spooner M0DYD receives the G2FZI Cup for his efforts on the club Antenna.

READING HFCC AWARDS - Tom, Don and Jim accept the Awards.

Comoros Island DX Award

In 2001 the members of the club came 3rd place in the Clubs Section of the DXpedition supported by Nevada

The club had 2 club members on the DXpedition by the 5star DX Group Don Field G3XTT & Tony Canning G0OPB.

We had a build up talk before the trip and new antenna were erected by some even new transceivers purchased for the chance to contact them as the interest and excitement built.

Several tried the different modes and frequencies available and checking on the 5star Web pages was a daily event.

Don & Tony returned and gave a second talk on the trip and it was in October that we received the news that we had come 3rd.
