Colin & Eric was supported by many members working HF and VHF/UHF

I called in after a tour of the local roads and the was a tea party going on with everybody being well looked after by the museum supports, it a great place to visit (when you can find it!) and a good couple of hours should allowed for your visit.

Some pictures take from the www.

Colin's Letter to the Members for their support

Gentlemen...
Thank you for your superb participation in todays event at the Museum of Berkshire
Aviation.   You got the name of the Club out there, and into Europe and worked some
96 Stations on HF and some 20 VHF/UHF.   I haven't done the stats but will check
countries worked as well later.  We even got Vin, the Club Chairman on the Mic.!!
Thank you for your efforts at actually erecting the Station and tearing it down after.
It definitely took less time taking it down.!!   For the M6 and M3 troops, it was great
experience handling pile ups that otherwise would not have been gained in normal
operations and Eric and I were really impressed at the superb way in which you rose
to the challenge.   Definitely some rising stars there. One DL Station even commented
that he had persevered for half an hour to get GB2RD in his Log.!  Thanks also to Denis,
Lorne, Wally and Sergei for unstintingly giving up their Saturdays to erect the VHF, HF and
4m Station offering advice, and and staying till the end and helping us ensure the legalities
of Supervision were there, and to the Committee Members who gave us Moral support.
I hope you enjoyed it as much as Eric and I did, and hope you will be able to join us
for Museums on the Air in 2010, some time in June....date TBA.  It was an unusual
QTH and was definitely different.!    If I have missed anybody, my apologies.

Colin  M0XSM

Well done Colin & Eric on a champion effort.
